1. Translation Data and File Processing

We highly value your privacy and intellectual property. When you translate a subtitle file (.srt) using our services:

• Ephemeral Processing: Subtitle contents are sent securely via HTTPS to our translation server for processing using advanced, secure artificial intelligence translation models.
• No Permanent Cloud Storage: Subtitle files and translation results are stored temporarily on our server for the sole purpose of delivering them to your device. Once the application successfully retrieves the translated result, the files are immediately and permanently deleted from our servers.
• Local Device Storage: All translation history, original files, and edited versions are stored locally on your device's filesystem and are completely under your control.

2. Information We Collect

To provide rate-limiting, subscriptions, and advertisement services, we may collect the following limited data:

• IP Addresses: Used strictly for security and rate-limiting purposes to enforce the free usage cooldown (1 file translation per 24 hours).
• Subscription Identifiers: We utilize secure third-party subscription management services to process and manage subscription entitlements. An anonymous app user identifier is associated with your subscription status to verify access.
• Usage Metrics: Anonymous data regarding application interaction and features accessed to help us improve performance.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We integrate several trusted third-party services to deliver advertisement, processing, and subscription functionalities. These third parties have their own privacy policies governing their usage of data:

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to deliver non-personalized or personalized ads to free-tier users. You can review Google's privacy practice here.
• Subscription Management Providers: Used to securely manage app subscriptions, process payments, and verify access permissions.
• AI Translation Processors: Used as the underlying technology to translate subtitle content. No personal identifiers or files are permanently stored by these processors during translation.

4. App Permissions

To provide a complete user experience, our app may request the following native permissions:

• Notifications: Used to notify you immediately when a background translation job is completed. You can opt-out of notifications at any time in your device settings.
• App Tracking Transparency (iOS): Used to ask for user permission to serve personalized advertisements.
